I don't really want to do this and I'm considering turning back, but when all you see is horrors and travesties and even those start to run together there's something wrong.
I tried to run from everything in life, so in the end I guess it makes no sense to run from resting in peace.
I hoped for the best for her, but there's a chance Gerda's waiting for me beyond that door.
Or maybe there's nothing. But whatever it is, thank you for being my friends.

The City has been uncommonly merciful and avoided hitting me with any curses. Maybe I'd rather have some, though, just to get my mind off of...things.
My eyesight doesn't bother me as much as it used to, but I've never had anything bigger to worry about in such a long time. Right now I can barely sleep because I'm terrified I'll be sent home and never wake up again. It also reminds me how long it's been since I've actually been angry.
...I know I'm not a top choice for hanging out, but would anyone like to do something? I need a distraction.

I'm quite disappointed that these shards are still here at all. I guess some people don't get breaks.

I only ever saw the circus once, but I can remember what it sounds like. But it's really no fun just listening.

It seems awfully cold today. Maybe it's just me. I forgot to plug my electric blanket in last night.
There seems to be a curse going on. As I was walking down the street no less than three people whistles at me. I can't whistle, so I guess I'm not affected. The deities have strange ways of amusing themselves.

I can't believe she was here. At least she's gone now. Out of all the curse days, that was probably the worst.

I'm glad I never had to go to high school for real. Too much stress.
At least it wasn't an absolutely horrible curse. The curses haven't been too cruel lately, aside from someone posting that I have a secret crush (I assure you, I don't).
Lots of people from New York lately, though none from the same time as me. Probably not the same New York, even.
It's April Fool's day, too. Not one of my favorite holidays. I remember Jack absolutely loved it because he'd play a prank on me every year. Last time he was around for it, he switched all the food in my freezer with things that explode when heated.
...I prefer Arbor Day.

Right when I left the apartment this morning, two people asked me to sign a petition for something. They were talking too fast so I didn't really get what they were about, but I signed anyways. I hope I signed in the correct spot.
And currently, no less than three people have asked me for my...autograph. I'm not that famous. Is this some sort of practical joke?

I am a bit conflicted right now. Fly has left and I am supposed to be in charge of the apartment, so don't want to jut eave it, but...I'm not sure I want to be alone right now, either.
